Brent Burns, 40, who has entered his 22nd NHL season, inked a one-year contract with Colorado. In the last season with Carolina, he participated in all 82 regular season games, scoring 6 goals and providing 23 assists, alongside 1 goal and 4 assists during 15 playoff games. Burns is recognized for his impressive endurance, holding the fourth-longest consecutive games played streak in NHL history with 925 games.
Pius Suter Joins St. Louis
Pius Suter has officially signed with the St. Louis Blues on a two-year contract worth $8.25 million, averaging $4.125 million per season. His performance last season with the Vancouver Canucks highlighted his skills, accumulating 25 goals and a total of 46 points over 81 games played, marking a career best.

Following a previous contract worth $3.2 million for two years, Suter transitions to St. Louis, adding to his experience in the NHL. Originally an undrafted free agent by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2020, Suter has played 364 games, netting 82 goals and a total of 162 points for the Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and Canucks.
