As the 2025 Formula 1 season progresses, both drivers and teams are faced with new technologies and performance hurdles. Lewis Hamilton, now with Ferrari after his move from Mercedes, believes the team is under more scrutiny than any other on the grid but remains confident in its potential to succeed.

Ferrari Under the Microscope

Hamilton noted that the scrutiny surrounding Ferrari is partly due to its esteemed history in Formula 1. He acknowledges that while the media often seeks to highlight potential crises, transforming a team’s performance is not an overnight process. He stated, “You can’t work with a team and change things overnight,” emphasizing the need for time to cultivate the team’s dynamics.

Adjusting Driving Styles

After a mixed result at the Bahrain Grand Prix where he finished fifth, Hamilton is focused on recalibrating his driving techniques to better suit Ferrari’s car. He admitted that altering long-held driving habits presents challenges, saying, “Implementing what I learned in Bahrain everywhere I go is a challenge.” He is determined to practice these adjustments consistently to improve performance.

Adapting to the Jeddah Circuit

As the teams gear up for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Hamilton is keen to leverage the unique characteristics of the Jeddah track, which may facilitate his adjustment. He aims to establish a rhythm during the race weekend and maintain concentration during critical phases, especially qualifying.

Team Collaboration

Hamilton also acknowledged the contrasting experiences he shares with teammate Charles Leclerc, who possesses considerable familiarity with the Ferrari setup. This dynamic could impact the optimization of vehicle performance as both drivers work to adapt and support each other’s efforts.

Looking Ahead

Despite the transition challenges, Hamilton remains committed to enhancing his performance and contributing to Ferrari’s objectives. As the season unfolds, his ability to refine his approach and collaborate with his team will be pivotal for achieving competitive results.
